HARBORLINE OUTFITTERS — DAILY DUMP
(Fictional sample for workshop practice. Paste this whole file into your agent.)

Today: Thursday

MY CALENDAR
- 8:30 Weekly ops huddle (15 min, standing)
- 10:00 Call with Petoskey Paddle Co. — they want to stock our house-brand dry bags (first conversation, their buyer is Dana Whitfield)
- 12:00 Lunch — open
- 1:30 Interview: assistant manager candidate for the Knapp's Corner store (second interview; first one went well but she seemed light on scheduling experience)
- 4:00 Review Q4 marketing plan draft with Priya (she sent it Tuesday; I have not opened it yet)

TASK LIST (in no particular order)
- Approve September staff schedule (due to stores by Friday)
- Decide on winter product line order quantities — deposit due Monday
- Write up the return-policy change for the website
- Follow up with the sign company about the Eastown storefront (third follow-up)
- Expense reports from the Traverse City trip still not submitted

UNREAD EMAIL WORTH KNOWING ABOUT
1) From: Dana Whitfield (Petoskey Paddle Co.)
   Subject: Ahead of our call
"Looking forward to today. Quick heads up — we'd need wholesale pricing and
a sense of your minimum order quantities on the call, our buying window for
   spring closes next Friday."

2) From: Marcus (Eastown store manager)
Subject: Freezer section leak — er, roof leak
"The drip over the boot wall came back with last night's rain. I moved the
inventory. We need someone out this week or we're pulling the whole display."

ONE NOTE FROM OPS
Website orders were up 22% last week after the fall-hikes blog post. Fulfillment
kept up but only because two people stayed late Tuesday. Worth discussing
staffing before the holiday season.
